Welcome to EXPAT PHILLY, the news and information magazine for those thinking about the move to and the Ex-Pats already living in the Philippines.
EXPAT PHILLY is part of the MB Media Global group of companies set up by Mike Buss, a former British soldier and now freelance journalist, documentary filmmaker and founder of MB Media Global. The idea behind EXPAT PHILLY came after Mike and his Filipina girlfriend Anabelle Belison vacationed in the Philippines in 2023.
After returning to the UK, looking around online for information that every expat needs to live in the Philippines, it became obvious that there wasnt just one place to look, as well as this there wasnt any online news & lifestyle magazine publication directed towards the expat community and so was born EXPAT PHILLY.
Why EXPAT PHILLY? Well, after founder Mike Buss had joined several of the expat community Facebook Groups for those living in the Philippines, it became apparent to Mike that most were from the US and many were using the slang ‘Philly’ when chatting about the Philippines and so the name was chosen.
